Deadlines met, lights out, shop's closed. I'll see you all in 2006, have a great holiday!
Posted by céline, in It is a funny job, on December 16, 2005can you translate this?
les jouissances permises peuvent-elles se comparer aux jouissances qui reunissent a des attraits bien plus piquants ceux inappreciables de la rupture des friens sociaux et du renversement de toutes les lois
Posted by jon holland on December 18, 2005 10:16 PMOh dear... it would help if the sentence made sense, which it doesn't. But we can try and guess its meaning.
How about:
Can licit pleasures be compared to those which add to much more piquant attractions the priceless ones derived from the breaking of social relationships and the overturning of all laws
Pretty lame? Well, yes. But, as they say, G.I.G.O
That said, it is rather a challenge.
