Hurricane, cyclone, typhoon

Did you know that the only difference between a hurricane (from Hunraken, the Mayan god of storms), a cyclone (from Greek kuklos, circle) and a typhoon (from Chinese tai fung, "big wind") is their geographical origin? Hurricanes happen in the Atlantic and North-East Pacific, cyclones in the Indian Ocean and South-East Pacific and typhoons in the North-West Pacific.
