Like it. What is funny though is that learning Spanish was about renewing my vowels. I worked hard to get them clean (my native RP tends to swallow and neutralise the vowels). What is odd though is whenever I get lazy then I catch myself doing other things to make my Spanish sound "better": to start with it was using lots of slang (which is a good first crutch), then I found I was doing the Spanish apicoalveolar /s/ (which is also used in one region of Colombia). (I first learned in Spain and listen to Colombian radio so it´s not as left of field as it sounds).
So I am, even as I speak, doing a renewal of my vowels ;)

There are 568 Google hits for "renewal of vowels", so it's not a one-off. For example, the Urban Dictionary has:
1. vowel renewal
a renewal of vowels to prevent vowel expiration.
My husband and I are going to Vegas to have a vowel renewal on our one year anniversary. We registered for gifts because we didn't get anything at our first wedding.
